What is the science behind the function of Amethyst BioMat™ system?

This revolutionary body heating system uses Far Infrared (FIR) (6 – 12 µm) to improve core body temperature. This FIR causes vibration within body up to 6”(15 cm) deep. Cells react to this vibration by increasing production of energy and heat without need for muscle contraction.

Body reacts to increase of its core temperature by dilating cardiovascular system which leads to improved blood circulation and oxygen supply to muscles and organs without additional stress on the body.

Improved blood and oxygen supply together with better function of cells due to an increased concentration of negative Ions contributes to better immune system, temporary relief from minor pain and stress. Use of Amethyst BioMat™ system is very simple with three basic FIR intensity settings:

Settings of intensity of FIR on the controller:

FIR off position (no color is lit up) – Amethyst BioMat™ system generates negative ions only. No FIR is generated at this setting.

Blue – Gentle sensitive broad – spectrum cooling (95 – 104°F / 35 – 45°C)

This blue setting is to enjoy the natural healing effect of negative ions and amethyst crystals with the minimum of FIR thermal effect. This setting is good for quality rejuvenating sleep to be used nightly.

• Minimum FIR; negative ions and energy of amethyst crystals.
• Multipurpose cellular regeneration.
• Total revitalization of the body and mind.
• Blue setting has a cooling effect it can be used in cases of overheating.
• It is also a easy way to start using and learn the effects of the Amethyst BioMat™ for those with  serious chronic problems or are sensitive to detoxification.

Green color setting – Gentle heat (113 – 122°F / 50 – 53°C):

This is an easy way to start and learn the effects of the Amethyst BioMat™ system. You can start with this low setting and then slowly increase intensity as well as the time of use. The Green setting is ideal for daily use for the purpose of relaxation, during massages, acupuncture or physiotherapy. It can also be used to warm up muscles before any sport activity.

• Safe for long-term use.
• Ideal for training, physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
• Good for all athletes to speed up recovery.

Orange – Deep penetrating gentle heat (131 – 140°F / 55 – 60°C):

• Slowly increase the time of use from 20 minutes to one or more hours..
• It creates feeling of comfort, relieves pain and helps to relax.
• Relieves effects of stress, tension.
• Can be also used during massage, physiotherapy or as a FIR stand-alone therapy.

Red – Deep penetrating intensive heat (149 – 158°F / 65  -70°C):

This High setting is the best to use for 20 – 60 minutes during each session. This setting is mostly for fast detox and sweating and is similar to FIR sauna. You can increase sweating effect by covering yourselves with towel made of natural fabric. This high temperature is excellent for a temporar relief of minor muscle and joint pain and effects of  stress. It will take about 20 minutes for Amethyst BioMat™ to reach highest temperatures.

• Daily up to a one hour just like a detox in sauna.
